Resolutions vs. Sankalpa: A Heartfelt Way to Set Intentions for the New Year
We made it! How are you enjoying the new year? Does it feel pretty similar to the last one? I am really trying to release a lot of the pressures and expectations I tend to bring into a new year and embrace this one as a journey with no destination. I am ready to enjoy the ride!
That doesn't mean I don't have big hopes for all that can be accomplished this year! However, instead of setting "resolutions" that are tough to stick with and come loaded with a lot of guilt and shame when not achieved, this year I am exploring the yoga concept of a Sankalpa.
If you're ready to join me in setting up 2025 on the right foot, I have something that might help!
There is so much we can learn from our past to make informed, aligned intentions about our future. And it really helps to have a support system to help hold ourselves accountable before we wake up months later wondering where the time went.
Did you know that the second Friday in January is known as "Quitter's Day" because this is the day most people have already quit on their New Year's Resolutions?
Instead of quitting whatever resolutions we thought we would set for 2025, let's come together to do a proper reflection on 2024, glean everything we can learn from it, release what no longer serves us, set some proper intentions, and create some realistic action plans.
I'm inviting you to a 3-part workshop to give us the time, the space, and the resources to set goals in 2025 so we can ACTUALLY make meaningful progress to the best version of ourselves we envision.
This 3-part workshop will be held live over 3 consecutive Fridays starting this Friday, January 10. You'll receive a beautifully designed workbook to help you stay on track and carry these lessons with you long past January, and you'll keep access to the replays so you can review any of the material as you need to in the future.
The price for this workshop is $27 - members of the Yoga for Self-Care Online Membership will be granted access to this workshop free with their membership.
